AI privacy disclosure
This disclosure explains what happens to data when you use FullBack Coach. It covers the AI coaching feature, not every part of the Fantasy FullBack service.
Last updated August 25, 2026The short version
When AI narration is enabled, Coach sends your question and a limited, task-specific slice of your saved fantasy data to the OpenAI API so it can phrase the answer. Do not put passwords, login codes, financial information, or other sensitive personal information in a Coach question.
Coach is read-only. The application calculates and ranks the advice; AI may explain it, but it cannot submit a draft pick, change a league or lineup, create a challenge, access a wallet, or place or recommend a wager.
What may be sent to OpenAI
- Your Coach question, limited to 300 characters.
- The computed result needed to answer it, such as player names, draft plans, league rules, team names, modeled matchup probabilities, freshness information, and roster-mapped news signals.
- An opaque safety identifier that does not contain your name or email address.
Fantasy FullBack does not intentionally send your password, one-time login code, provider access token, account email, wallet data, signatures, private messages, or challenge stake data to the AI narrator.
How OpenAI handles the request
Fantasy FullBack uses the OpenAI API as a service provider and sends each narration request with response storage disabled. OpenAI states that API inputs and outputs are not used to train its models by default. OpenAI may retain API content in abuse-monitoring logs for up to 30 days unless a different approved retention control applies, longer retention is legally required, or retention is reasonably necessary to protect its services or a third party from harm.
What Fantasy FullBack keeps
Fantasy FullBack does not store your question or Coach’s answer in its learning records. It may keep limited, prose-free metadata: the requested category, whether AI narration ran, the ranked recommendation categories, fixed-choice helpful/not-helpful feedback, and whether a ranked recommendation was opened. Security and audit records may contain the event type and question length, but not the question text.
Coach response metadata, fixed-choice feedback, and recommendation-open records are automatically pruned after 90 days. Your chosen Coach focus remains until you change it, and a confirmed draft position remains until you clear or replace it.
Usage and abuse controls
Coach accepts only fantasy-football questions about drafts, rosters, matchups, rankings, news, and strategy. FullBack screens custom questions for unrelated requests and attempts to override Coach’s instructions before any AI narration call.
Limits are account-wide across Coach Hub, Draft Copilot, and Matchup Copilot: up to 50 inputs in 24 hours and 100 inputs in a 30-day usage window. Input 51 triggers a 24-hour pause. Short burst limits also apply.
When an account crosses a usage threshold, FullBack creates an administrator-visible security flag and monitoring alert containing the account’s internal ID, Coach surface, threshold, and count. The alert does not contain the question or answer text. Redis counters and temporary-ban keys expire automatically at the end of their applicable windows.
Your choices
- Use the fixed Coach shortcuts if you do not want to type a custom question.
- Do not use Coach if you do not want the limited fantasy context processed by OpenAI while AI narration is enabled.
- Feedback is optional, uses fixed choices, and never asks for free-text detail.
- Treat every answer as advisory and verify time-sensitive fantasy information at its source.
